What is ERD?

The ERD,

It commonly referred as to an entity-relationship diagram, is just a graphical portrayal of the interactions that exist between individuals, things, locations, notions, as well as actions inside of an information and technology (IT) system. An ERD employs database modeling techniques to assist in the creation of business activities and as the cornerstone for a database engine (Biscobing, september 2019).

ERD related items

Entities - generally depicted in such a rectangle, entities might be items, people, thoughts, or situations that keep the data (moqups).

Attributes - represented in a round as well as an oval, attributes allude to an individual's qualities. It could be basic, mixed, or generated, and an entity may have 1 or more properties (moqups).

Relationships show how a group of individuals engage with one another. These are presented as tags mostly on connections that link the items (moqups)

Cardinality in data set plan has to do with counting tables and values. So, cardinality has three fundamental definitions. It can connect with including the quantity of components in a set, distinguishing the connections between tables, or portraying how data set tables contain various qualities, and what those tables resemble overall (Becker, 14 August 2020)
